This March David Patterson celebrated his one year anniversary as Governor of New York. Despite his recent ratings, the significance of reaching that position has not been lost on the 110,000 blind people in the state. Amanda Blitz followed one blind New Yorker who, like Patterson, does not let his disability impede him.
